Privacy Policy

MindWeaverArt (www.mindweaverart.com) publishes quotes paired with AI-generated artwork. This policy explains what personal data the site and its social media tools process, and why.

What we collect when you visit the site
- Server and security logs. Every request passes through Cloudflare (content delivery and protection against attacks) and reaches our host, Upsun. Both process your IP address, the page you ask for, your browser's user agent and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure, and the logs are kept only as long as the providers keep them.
- Analytics. The site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand which pages are read. These may set cookies and process your IP address and device information.
- Contact form. When you write to us through the contact form, we store what you enter (name, email address, message) to answer you. We do not use it for anything else, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
- Cookies. The site itself sets no cookies for visitors. Only editors who log in get a session cookie.
We do not sell personal data. We do not show advertising.
Our social media accounts
We post the quotes and their artwork and videos on X, Bluesky, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok. When you visit our profiles there, the privacy policy of that platform applies.
Our use of the TikTok API
MindWeaverArt has an app registered with TikTok for Developers. It is used for one thing only: to upload the daily video we make ourselves to the inbox of our own TikTok account (@mindweaverart), where we then publish it by hand.
- When the account owner authorizes the app, TikTok sends us the account's ID (open_id), the permissions granted (user.info.basic, video.upload), and access and refresh tokens.
- We store these tokens on our server only to upload our videos. We do not read, collect or store any other TikTok data, and nothing about other TikTok users or viewers.
- We do not share this data with anyone.
- The access can be withdrawn at any time in the TikTok app under Settings → Security → Manage app permissions. We then delete the tokens.
The same applies to our use of the APIs of YouTube (Google), Pinterest, X and Bluesky: they are used only to publish our own content on our own accounts. Our use of YouTube is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Where the data is processed
Cloudflare and Google may process data outside Switzerland and the EU, including in the United States, on the basis of standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (and the GDPR, where it applies) you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the last change.
